Effective 11 October 2026. Emerald uses a signed, HTTP-only, secure session cookie to keep your Discord login active for up to seven days and to protect dashboard requests. The OAuth login flow also stores a short-lived state value in that session cookie. Login tokens stay on the server.

These cookies are necessary for signing in and using the dashboard. The acknowledgement saved in your browser prevents the notice appearing again. You can dismiss the notice and browse public pages without signing in. Blocking or clearing cookies may log you out.
Retention and control
Sign out to clear the browser session. Browser settings can remove this site's cookies and local storage at any time. Emerald does not set advertising or analytics cookies in its own pages. Third-party sites reached through links have their own policies.

Dashboard controls
Birthday, role-timer, suggestion, giveaway, Temporary Voice and scheduled-message settings are stored on the server, not in cookies. The cookie-notice acknowledgement is stored in this browser’s local storage. New dashboard modules use the same essential login and request-protection cookies; they do not introduce advertising or analytics cookies.
